About Ranfurly Farm

Ranfurly Farm is located in the scenic Turtle Valley roughly halfway between the cities of Salmon Arm on the east and Kamloops on the west.  Our closest center is Chase a small but vibrant community on the shores of Little Shuswap Lake.

Ranfurly Farm reflects the shared vision of two generations of Fryatt family members and their partners, evolving daily into a sustainable agricultural enterprise focused on providing healthy and quality food.

 CSA

Jen and her partner Adam have created an extensive garden that provides weekly veggies to share holders from early June until Thanksgiving.  This is a photo of a small part of the garden in the fall of last year.

Heritage Pigs

We raise Large Black pigs - this is Juliet with her babies out on the pasture.  In addition to a Large Black boar and sow, we also have two Berkshire sows that are bred to our registered boar.  For more photos and information, click on the Heritage Pig page listed on the left.

Pasture Raised Poultry

CSA shareholders will be able to purchase "egg shares" along with their veggie boxes this year.  This is one of the Black Australorp roosters taking a break in the barn.  Check out the poultry page to see photos of Adam's chicken tractors as well as progress on his latest creation!

Bluefaced Leicester Sheep

anfurly Farm has one of the largest flocks of Bluefaced Leicester sheep in Canada.  BFL's are noted for their fabulous fibre as well as their prolificy and maternal qualities of crossbred female offspring.  More photos on the lamb page as well as a link to the Ranfurly BFL blog.
